Students who successfully complete courses in the Humanities distribution area will be able to demonstrate the college-wide learning outcome of Communication. Communication is the ability to engage effectively in verbal, non-verbal, written, and/or symbolic expression. It includes the following learning objectives:
- Communicate purpose, theme, or central message
- Account for audience and context
- Follow disciplinary conventions
- Utilize supporting materials/sources and evidence

Humanities Courses
The following courses meet the Humanities distribution requirement. Students should review the recommendations and requirements included in their program outline before selecting which course(s) to take. 300- and 400-level courses apply to baccalaureate degree programs only. |
