ENGT 132 AutoCAD II

An advanced course in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and design. This is a 2D class that focuses on scaling for mechanical engineering drawings.

Prerequisites: ENGT 100, ENGT 101, ENGT 102, and ENGT 103

Corequisites: ENGT 131

Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Create mechanical drawings by using different mechanical scales
Apply external references by creating an industry drawing of mechanical details using “Xrefs”
Demonstrate how and articulate why to modify external references on drawings by changing “Xrefs”
Recognize, describe, and apply the components of critical thinking
