DHET 197 Cooperative Work Experience I1-5 credits Cooperative work experience offers students the opportunity to further their skills by working at an approved job site. Training plan will be developed to enable the student to acquire on-the-job skills while earning an income.
Prerequisites: Instructor permission
Corequisites: DHET 190
Course Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Acquire hands-on experience and skills relevant to the specific industry or field of study
- Demonstrate proficiency in using industry-specific tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Gain exposure to workplace etiquette and professional conduct
- Learn how to adapt and troubleshoot in a dynamic work environment
College-Wide Learning Outcomes This course teaches to the college-wide learning outcome of Critical Thinking, the ability to evaluate information, draw inferences, arrive at conclusions, and create solutions based on objective analysis of the evidence.
