CSD 297 IT Project

3 credits
In this course students develop a real world software application, going through a complete application development life cycle, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, debugging, and deployment.

Prerequisites: CSD 112 CSD 122 CSD 138 CS& 141 , and (CSD 228  OR CSD 268 )

Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

  • Describe software application development life cycle
  • Manage development of an application from initial conception to final release
  • Apply necessary skills to solve a real world IT problem
  • Develop and deploy a complete software package
  • Produce written documentation for an application
  • Deliver effective presentation of a software solution
