CSD 297 IT Project3 credits In this course students develop a real world software application, going through a complete application development life cycle, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, debugging, and deployment.
Prerequisites: CSD 112 , CSD 122 , CSD 138 , CS& 141 , and (CSD 228 OR CSD 268 )
Course Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Describe software application development life cycle
- Manage development of an application from initial conception to final release
- Apply necessary skills to solve a real world IT problem
- Develop and deploy a complete software package
- Produce written documentation for an application
- Deliver effective presentation of a software solution
Program Outcomes This course teaches to the following program outcome:
- be prepared to obtain an entry-level position in software development
