APDZ 382 Branded Interaction5 credits This course provides a survey of the field of brand communication and human interaction. Students will study the principles of brand communication and contemporary design practice.
Prerequisites: Admission to the BAS in Design Program or instructor permission.
Course Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Describe the basic process of brand development and value alignment
- Describe the implications of technology and global influence on communication
- Describe the effect of brand narrative and human interaction
- Employ creative and critical thinking to enhance problem solving
- Produce a professional quality portfolio artifact
