APDZ 382 Branded Interaction

This course provides a survey of the field of brand communication and human interaction. Students will study the principles of brand communication and contemporary design practice.

Prerequisites: Admission to the BAS in Design Program or instructor permission.

Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

  • Describe the basic process of brand development and value alignment
  • Describe the implications of technology and global influence on communication
  • Describe the effect of brand narrative and human interaction
  • Employ creative and critical thinking to enhance problem solving
  • Produce a professional quality portfolio artifact
