BUS 325 Business Development and Sales5 credits This course focuses on entrepreneurial business development, both pre- and post-launch. The course covers business development techniques and management, as well as sales leadership and management.
Prerequisites: BUS& 101 and admission to the BASAME program
Course Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Apply a working knowledge of entrepreneurial sales strategies and applied LinkedIn techniques which may be adjusted to address issues appropriately based in the context of starting and developing the sales aspects of a small to medium sized entrepreneurial business
- Apply objective thought process in analysis, critical thinking, and effective communication in entrepreneurial sales and business development
- Demonstrate knowledge of business opportunities and implement strategic sales and practical action plans to achieve business objectives and goals
- Demonstrate knowledge of the key element of business development analysis within the context of the entrepreneurial business firm
