This program introduces the overall concepts of User-Centered Design. The role and relevance of human-centered design is examined and evaluated. Students will develop real-world, user-centered design projects that utilize research methods, qualitative and quantitative data, usability testing, and best practices of design and research while following a specific design process.

Lake Washington Institute of Technology does not offer every course each quarter. It is the student’s responsibility to consult the Class Schedule and work out an individual schedule with an adviser or counselor. Any developmental coursework a student may be required to complete may increase the program length.
