Students who successfully complete courses in the Humanities distribution area will be able to demonstrate the college-wide learning outcome of Communication. Communication is the ability to engage effectively in verbal, non-verbal, written, and/or symbolic expression. It includes the following learning objectives:

  • Communicate purpose, theme, or central message
  • Account for audience and context
  • Follow disciplinary conventions
  • Utilize supporting materials/sources and evidence
