Students who successfully complete courses in the Natural Science distribution area will be able to:
- use the scientific method to analyze natural phenomena and acquire skills to evaluate the accuracy of data/information relative to the natural world
- identify and locate appropriate resources to answer questions concerning living systems and matter
- apply scientific knowledge to personal, societal, and/or global issues
- demonstrate critical thinking and information literacy

Natural Science Courses
The following courses meet the Natural Science distribution requirement for associate degrees. All of the following courses include lab. Students enrolled in a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) program should consult the program outline in the catalog for the specific 300- and 400-level courses that meet the Natural Science requirement for their program.
