Natural Science

Students who successfully complete courses in the Natural Science distribution area will be able to:

• use the scientific method to analyze natural phenomena and acquire skills to evaluate the accuracy of data/information relative to the natural world
• perform literature reviews and identify and locate appropriate resources to answer questions concerning living systems and matter 
• apply scientific knowledge to personal, societal, and/or global issues
• properly use a variety of laboratory techniques and instruments
• demonstrate critical thinking, information literacy, and teamwork
