Beverage Management, Certificate of Completion

The Beverage Management Certificate is designed for students interested in pursuing careers as Sommeliers and Restaurant Beverage Managers. Guided by industry professionals, participants will acquire worldwide wine knowledge with a focus on northwest wines, beer, and spirits, and will develop traditional and contemporary food and beverage pairing skills. Additionally, students will become proficient in all aspects of formal wine tasting, assessment, and service. This program’s condensed class schedule allows for certificate completion in as few as 2 quarters of study.

Lake Washington Institute of Technology does not offer every course each quarter. It is the student’s responsibility to consult the Class Schedule and work out an individual schedule with an adviser or counselor. Any developmental coursework a student may be required to complete may increase the program length.
