AUTO 298 Job Search and Employability Skills1 credits Students develop job search objectives and practice employability skills needed for successful employment.
Prerequisites: Instructor permission

Student Outcomes/Competencies: Upon successful completion of the course this student will be able to:
- Conduct new trade information interviews and review earlier trade information interviews to determine future employment options
- Develop, set and implement job search goals
- Write an effective resume
- Write an effective interest letter
- Write an effective thank you letter
- Develop cooperatively with instructor a work plan for this unit that involves specific objectives by developing a portfolio of skills acquired and those needed
