ARCH 212 Construction Documents - Commercial4 credits This course covers commercial architectural graphics standards, codes, floor plans, sections, elevations, stairs, roofs, and foundations. Primary focus is on production of construction documents. Various architectural graphics media and software applications are utilized.
Prerequisites: ARCH 200 and ARCH 202
Corequisites: ARCH 210
Quarters Offered: Cohort 1: Winter
Student Outcomes/Competencies: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Apply prior knowledge of commercial building systems to construction drawings
- Develop design drawings for the construction document phase of a project
- Apply knowledge and skills to create computer-generated drawings of construction documents for a commercial architectural building project
