ART 410 Thesis Exhibition and Portfolio

5 credits

This capstone class has students creating a culminating thesis exhibition of artwork. The exhibition installation, promotion, and planning will be student driven and inhabit both the physical and online spaces.

Prerequisites: ART 401

Corequisites: ART 402

Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

Present a portfolio of work centered on a theme or client
Distinguish professional methods of exhibition and presentation
Facilitate the marketing of the thesis exhibition
Curate a written and visual thesis
Defend a thesis
Outline future possibilities for the thesis work and portfolio post graduation
