ART 302 Illustration5 credits In this studio course, students integrate alternative art techniques to render images in a variety of styles and artistic schools for a client.
Prerequisites: ART 301
Course Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Highlight the goals of a client and apply those towards illustration
- Produce analog and digital artworks that express a theme, concept, vision, or narrative
- Integrate experimental alternative art techniques into analog and digital imagery
- Express a continuous aesthetic across all client-based projects
- Explore naturalistic and abstract styles to express a story
- Facilitate time and economic budget factors into art projects
- Leverage technology in the creation, modification, and refinement of artwork
