ART 302 Illustration

In this studio course, students integrate alternative art techniques to render images in a variety of styles and artistic schools for a client.

Prerequisites: ART 301  

Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

  • Highlight the goals of a client and apply those towards illustration
  • Produce analog and digital artworks that express a theme, concept, vision, or narrative
  • Integrate experimental alternative art techniques into analog and digital imagery
  • Express a continuous aesthetic across all client-based projects
  • Explore naturalistic and abstract styles to express a story
  • Facilitate time and economic budget factors into art projects
  • Leverage technology in the creation, modification, and refinement of artwork
