A practical study of how design innovations lead to new opportunities and solutions to wicked problems. Course content will focus on human-centered design theory and arts-based research.
Prerequisites: APDZ 331
Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course student will be able to:
- Identify and describe a wicked problem
- Describe and list examples of human-centered design process
- Describe theoretical frameworks of organizational behavior
- Describe and list examples of arts-based research as applied to design process
- Create a professional level portfolio artifact or visual presentation
