ARGT 212 Residential Construction Techniques4 credits This course researches different construction methods and techniques, terminology, materials, and building systems. It includes research of new and innovative construction materials, technologies, and applications.
Prerequisites: ARGT 112. Quarters Offered: Fall, Winter, Spring
Student Outcomes/Competencies: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Research residential/commercial framing systems, foundation systems, and roof systems
- Describe new systems within the construction industry
- Describe new construction technologies
- Professionally present new or innovative materials, technologies, and techniques
