CSD 323 Data Analytics5 credits This course introduces students to the science of Data Analytics. Students will learn to extract meaning from data by using qualitative and quantitative techniques and processes that enhance productivity and business gain.
Prerequisites: Admission to the BAS IT: CSD program
Course Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Select, filter, aggregate, and clean data sets using Python and SQL (Data Preparation)
- Prepare and communicate data analytics in Python (Descriptive Data Analytics)
- Develop predictive data analytics using Python (Predictive Data Analytics)
- Construct and communicate data analytics results visually using Python (Data Visualization)
