BTE 111 Word I

Beginning and intermediate word processing course covering document creation, retrieval, character and paragraph formatting, multi-page documents, columns, tables, graphics, and form letters.

Prerequisites: BTE 120  (prerequisite or corequisite)

Corequisites: BTE 120 ​ (prerequisite or corequisite)

Course Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:

  • Create, edit, retrieve, save, and print documents
  • Format characters and paragraphs
  • Generate multiple page documents and reports
  • Create and edit tables
  • Insert and edit graphics
  • Create, edit, retrieve, and print labels
  • Create, edit, retrieve, and print form letters
