ENGT 227 Solidworks For Engineering III4 credits An advanced course expanding on the use of feature-based parametric. Students will apply parametric solid modeling and photo-realistic rendering techniques to create complex parts and assemblies using Top-Down assembly and multiple-configuration techniques working from engineering sketches and/or measured parts.
Prerequisites: ENGT 226 or instructor permission.
Course Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Create complex parts using Features commands
- Show proficiency in application of Top-Down assembly methods
- Model basic components using Configuration modeling and Design Table tools
