LASR 211 Advanced Topics in Imaging and Remote Sensing

3 credits
This course is a continuation of LASR 204 Communication, Imaging, and Remote Sensing . This course provides an in-depth understanding, aligned with intensive practice, of industry-standard imaging and remote-sensing systems. The operation, installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of forward-looking-infrared systems (FLIR) and LIDAR are introduced. Students also practice image processing to be able to use devices to enhance logistics and control issues in a safe and reliable manner.
