LASR 206 Advanced Topics in Telecommunications

This course is a continuation of LASR 204 Communication, Imaging, and Remote Sensing. This course provides an in-depth understanding, aligned with intensive practice, of the industry-standard technical skills needed when working for organizations that use optical fiber capable of carrying communication services across local, regional, and/or nationwide networks. The course prepares students to complete nationally recognized certification exams, including the Electronic Technician Association (ETA) Fiber Optics and Data Cabling Certifications.
