OTA 211 Mental Health and Occupational Therapy5 credits This course covers adaptations to everyday occupations needed by clients receiving occupational therapy. Assistive equipment, techniques, methods, and environments for a wide variety of client populations are included.
Prerequisites: OTA 131 , OTA 132 , OTA 144 , and OTA 140
Corequisites: OTA 120 , OTA 180 , and OTA 217
Program Outcomes This course teaches to the following program outcome:
- assist the occupational therapist with assessments of patient function
Global Outcomes This course teaches to the global outcome of teamwork.
