TLM 445 Capstone Project in Logistics Management5 credits This course is designed to help students solve actual logistic management challenges they will encounter in the workplace. Basic decision making tools and concepts will be used for finding cost reduction and strategic opportunities. It provides an opportunity for students to conduct independent research on a wide array of salient issues in logistics management, either individually or in teams. It requires a written report and oral presentation of the research findings. The course will make heavy use of examples from industry to provide illustrations of the concepts in practice. Prerequisites: TLM 301 and admission to the BASTLM program.
