EPID 455 Applications of Epidemiology5 credits This course is designed to serve as an epidemiology capstone experience. Students will work with local agencies and health departments engaged in health surveillance and monitoring on projects that may include data analysis and application, using GIS mapping tools and related software, field observations, and community assessment. Students will also participate in a weekly meeting with students in other capstone courses from the other specializations to collaborate and share information and knowledge gained.
Prerequisites: Instructor permission.
