ECED 215 Capstone Practicum3 credits In this course students will plan and implement a two-week curriculum. Students will work collaboratively with lab partner/lead teacher to create the environment and assess the activity planning.
Note: The 2015-2016 catalog previously listed the course credits in error at two credits. ECED 215 is a three credit course and is iffered as such.
Prerequisites: Instructor permission.
Quarters Offered: Spring
Student Outcomes/Competencies: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Plan implement and evaluate a children’s program
- Communicate to staff members information related to environmental planning and programming
- Receive suggestions/input from supervisor and peers and respond in a professional manner
- Implement changes needed as the result of program evaluation
