EASL 056 Technical Integrated ESL Verbal Communication1-8 credits
Improve pronunciation of technical/industry specific vocabulary; use such vocabulary in sentences while working on stress and intonation. Practice describing a process and reporting problems.
Prerequisites: EASL 040 or equivalent placement test score.
Student Outcomes/Competencies:
Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Pronounce technical verbs and nouns at a word level and a sentence level
- Describe a procedure they are currently performing
- Describe a procedure they are going to perform
- Describe past work experience and education
- Report problems
