BUSA 320 Business Marketing5 credits This course explores business promotion. Topics covered include market research; product and service pricing, promotion, and distribution; and customer service. Students will learn professional sales techniques and cost-effective marketing strategies.
Prerequisites: Acceptance into a baccalaureate program and instructor permission. Student Outcomes/Competencies: Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Evaluate marketing opportunities qualitatively and quantitatively
- Apply market research techniques
- Employ qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure the success of a marketing campaign
- Use professional selling techniques
- Describe product and service pricing considerations that apply in a particular market
- Articulate customer service strategies
- Develop a marketing plan for a product or service
- Present a marketing plan to an audience
