BUS 360 Entrepreneurial Start Up Strategy5 credits
This course covers how to launch and then operate a new business in a rapidly developing environment. Focus is on best practices in the industry in order to formulate a smooth start up launch.
Prerequisites: BUS 300 (pre or corequisite) and admission to the BASAME program
Course Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to :
- Examine business organizations as a system of interrelated functions
- Develop managerial and organizational skills through the application of theories to real entrepreneurial problems
- Utilize the case analysis method, observation (interviewing business members, analyzing records, etc.), and reporting findings to others
- Function as a team member, and develop a cross-disciplinary understanding of business problems
