TLM 444 Capstone Project in Transportation Management5 credits This course provides an opportunity for students to conduct independent research on a wide array of salient issues in transportation management, either individually or in teams. Requires a written report and oral presentation of the research findings. Examples of areas of research: federally mandated vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures; development of computer data related to computer-based and on-board diagnostic systems and computer-based technical information databases; alternative fuel systems, procurement decisions, hazardous materials handling procedures, employee relations, etc. Prerequisites: TLM 301 and admission to the BASTLM program.
